Installation Instructions
ScrapeStop is designed to prevent driveway scrapes under the front of motor vehicles, as well as reducing damage to front and rear bumpers caused by bump-parking.
Wash location where ScrapeStop is to be applied with car detergent, then rinse and dry.
Using the supplied alcohol wipe, clean over general areas where ScrapeStop is to be applied and allow to dry.
Under-front application, identify six areas that are likely to come in contact with driveway by visual inspection, or by holding a piece of cardboard on an angle under the nose of the vehicle to replicate entering a driveway. Slide a ScrapeStop under the nose of the car until it makes contact with the cardboard. Make a note of the location, remove the double-sided tape backing and stick in place, pressing very firmly. Repeat for remaining ScrapeStop.
Front or back bump-stop protection, locate the six points on the back or front and corners of the vehicle that are likely to make contact with another vehicle first. Remove the double-sided tape backing and stick in place, pressing very firmly. Repeat for remaining ScrapeStop.
